Sorry for the lack of writing. We haven't been overly productive since our trip a few weeks ago. Last weekend we took Rebekah to the park to get out of the house for a bit. We went in the morning so that we could beat the heat. She had a fun time playing. We took her bike and she finally figured out how to pedal. The only problem was if she wasn't being pushed, she didn't know how to do it. So I think we still got a little ways to go, but she is learning.
Today she went to the State Fair with my parents. Aaron and I decided not to go this year as we couldn't really afford too and it is always the same things over and over. She got home late, but sounded like she had lots of fun. STill scared of the animals in the petting zoo and of Smokey the Bear. But she had fun making her wood necklace and all the other things she did.
Tomorrow morning we get Direct Tv installed. Got a deal and it was cheaper than what we have now. Sunday we are going to Aaron's parents for a BBQ and on Monday we're going to my parents for a BBQ. I think that is a good way to end the summer. Though I just saw the weather forcast for next week so it doesn't really look like summer is ending.
My parents head off on their Alaskan Cruise Monday for two weeks. It is their 40th anniversary gift to each other. Here's hoping that they have a wonderful time and don't take a zillion pictures. Maybe just settle on a million.
Happy Labor Day weekend....or the weekend before your kids go back to school!
