Last weekend we found ourselves taking the long trip to Pendleton. It was a quick trip, over on Saturday and home on Sunday....but I think it was worth it. Rebekah got to play with cousins we haven't seen since Feburary and see my brother's new house. After having delay after delay on when the house would be completed, they were able to finally move in at the end of August. Here are a few pictures of mostly kids...and lots and lots of family fun.
The view of Pendleton and surrounding area from their deck. They own the lot next to them, so even if someone builds, it won't obstruct their view. Pretty awesome and a pretty awesome trip. Even if it was only for one day!
This weekend we gained two older girls. My co-worker Melissa needed a get away weekend so we were the guardians of her girls for the weekend. We gained another Rebecca and an Ashley and our Rebekah had an awesome time. We stayed up late two days in a row...which means tonight is an early to bed night. Especially since during the last 35 minutes she's spent more time crying then playing with daddy. On Saturday we went to this pumpkin patch that claimed to be free except for the rides...but it turned out the only thing free was being able to get a wagon and go out into the field and look at pumpkins. Somehow we managed to have fun doing that and even got some Pumpkiny pictures. We also bought an albino pumpkin, cause I thought they were cool.
It was really fun getting a taste of what the older girls are like, but it was also exhausting. I am looking forward to a relaxing end of my weekend. Anyway here are the pictures of the pumpkin girl girl girl fun we had this weekend.
