Thankgiving and Birthday Weekend

The day before Thanksgiving we went to visit Aaron's Grandma at her care home. They were having a special holiday dessert and Debby had invited us to go. Aaron couldn't make it, but we were sure to eat his dessert too! This is of Rebekah's frosting mustache.

My brother and his family were able to come over for Thanksgiving this year. It was great, because we don't get to see them very often. This is their newest little girl, Madelyn. She is five months, but in a few days will be six months.

This is Rebekah and Aiden playing with a puzzle on Nana and Papa's kitchen floor, while Nana and Papa were trying to get Thanksgiving dinner prepared.

This is me playing with Madelyn. She has the cutest smile and giggle.

This is my other niece Juliana. I tried to get her to smile for the camera, but she didn't feel like it until after I took the picture. I can't remember if she is in the chair because she was in trouble, or just felt like being in the chair for fun. Either way she is a busy little girl.

On Saturday we went to my parents to visit and to have a family photo taken since we were all here. I don't have the other photo, but I have this one of the three of us. Believe it or not, but this is the best one!

This is what happens when you get all the kids together for a picture, right before bed time and after you've already taken a zillion pictures already. Obviously my brother wasn't helping much.

We were able to catch a few smiles from Madelyn. ADORABLE!!

And now we get to the birthday portion of this blog. My dad's birthday was Sunday, but since we were all together on Saturday we just did it a day early. This is Rebekah helping Papa open his present from us. He got the book "If you give a pig a pancake" from Rebekah and a video about the Civil War. Papa collects pigs, so it was only fitting that he get a book about them.

All in all it was a great Thanksgiving. We had a fantastic time spending time with our families.
