Rebekah's Firsts

Rebekah is 6 weeks today if you can believe it. I'm not sure I can! She is growing more and more every day. Starting to out grow some of the newborn outfits and fitting better in the zero-3 month stuff.

We had a busy weekend of "firsts" so thought I would share the pictures with you.

These first pictures are from her first Homer Davenport Days Parade. She slept through the whole thing. I don't know how she slept through all the honking horns and sirens, but nothing seemed to phase her.

These next pictures are from our trip to The Dalles where Rebekah got to meet her Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Aimee and cousins Juliana and Aiden. It was also her first car ride that took longer than a half hour. She did really well as we fed her right before putting her in the car, so she would sleep the whole time. Worked nicely. We had a nice picnic at The Dalles Dam and Visitor Center. It was also nice to just visit with family we don't see all the time.

These next two pictures I took today. The first one is of Cousin Aiden holding Rebekah at our place this morning. The next one is of Rebekah sleeping in the cradle. This is the first time I've had her in the cradle since we got it from my parents. The cradle was a place where my brother and I slept when we were babies. My brother had it for Aiden and Juliana, neither cared much for being in it. Rebekah did not seem to mind. But this was the first time so there is still time for her to decide she does not like it.
