Rebekah had her four month check up yesterday....even though she'll be Five months this Sunday. She weighed in at 16.3 lbs and was 26 inches long. The doctor gave the go ahead to start her on solids. He said to first start with the rice cereal, or in our case the single grain oatmeal. The rice cereal can make some a little constipated and since she already has that issue, he suggested using the oatmeal instead.
She also got her shots and was only upset for a short time and then fine. She so far doesn't have a fever or any signs of having troubles with the shots, so am thankful about that.
Last night I purchased some oatmeal cereal at the store and we had our first taste test last night. She did okay...but the majority of it ended up on her bib. Towards the end she started to open her mouth expecting it, so that was nice to see. Aaron was going to try and feed her this afternoon and see how she did. The doctor indicated that we should start on vegetables first since they are not sweet like the fruits, so we are currently trying to decide which of the vegetables she should try first. She'll get those on Thanksgiving we hope.

ooooh ... are you in trouble. In the post before, you said that there would be pictures of the cousins. And no pictures! Early bah humbug! I saw Jeremy and Aimee on Halloween. I was driving South on 3rd and they were downtown trick or treating. With the kids, of course. So stinking cute.
